What is he difference amongst Toner, Cartridge and Ink?

Ink and Cartridge : Printer ink is a liquid. It is processed inside the ink cartridge and then applied on the paper. There are several ways of printing with ink. The most commonly used method in consumer ink jet printers is the thermal ink jet technology. This technology uses a cartridge with a series of tiny electrically-heated chambers. To produce an image, the printer runs a pulse of current through the heating elements.Inkjet printers (as well as inkjet multifunction machines, inkjet copiers, photo printers, and inkjet fax machines) spray tiny droplets of liquid ink onto paper. There have been great strides of late in inkjet printing technology that have made them much more resistant to smudging and smearing.

Toner : Laser toner is a dry, powdered ink while inkjet - and bubble-jet, a kind of inkjet used by Canon printers - inks are liquid.

Laser printers (as well as laser multifunction machines, laser copiers, and laser fax machines) work by fusing toner to paper using heat. The printed results of lasers are smudge-proof and waterproof.

Exactly what Mehboob said, the stuff he robbed from the net is good,

Toner is by far the better but more expensive, ya know what they say, you pay for what you get.

Warning : If toner gets on your clothes, dont wash with warm or hot water, steep in cold water without rubbing the clothes as this cause friction and can fuse the toner to the material.

Toner cartage is a dry powder substance that needs to be heated in order for it to stick to the blank page. Ink or bubble jet cartage is a liquid that is sprayed on to a blank page and is very messy if you touch the ink right away after you finish printing.
