Are there any schemes where one can be paid for recycling cartridges and toners?

Such as the ones for mobile phones? In UK and eager to do my bit (but also a skint student)Are there any schemes where one can be paid for recycling cartridges and toners?

I've never heard of one. Only places to deposit them because of the toxins in the ink, but they don't pay you for them. There's no money in them. I mean what's the value in them 5p? 10p? They are cheaper than that to make them brand new.
