How can I refill my samsung ML1510 toner cartridge myself?

simple to follow steps. can toner for HP printer work for a samsung printer? How can I refill my samsung ML1510 toner cartridge myself?
Jen505 is correct.

Do not use toner powder that is not specifically formulated for the printer in question. Each manufacturer has different specifications and each printer works a little differently. Using the incorrect toner powder can ruin the printer.

If you're committed to doing this yourself, it's fairly simple if you buy a kit designed for your printer as it'll undoubtedly come with directions.

In short, you'll need to remove the fill plug at the end of the cartridge, carefully dump out any old toner to empty the hopper and refill it with new toner before reinserting the plug.

It's assumed that you can do this up to 3 times per cartridge before the cartridge is completely worn out and must be rebuilt.

Be advised that toner is a carcinogen (causes cancer) and that, once airborne, the particles remain in the air for hours. Spilled toner is extremely difficult to clean up and that refilling cartridges will require some tools.

Do not use a regular vacuum to clean up spills, you'll gum up the works and burn out the motor.

My recommendation is that you leave refilling to the experts, that way you're sure to get what you need and your printer won't get damaged. How can I refill my samsung ML1510 toner cartridge myself?
no you cant, professional ink refillers at stores mess up on 1 in 5 ink cartridges so having you do it is much worse. plus the printer will get all messed up because it will think it is using one type of ink to mix with another to make a different color and it will make a whole different color and look terrible
I have refilled toners several times with more success as I learned a few things about toners and drums and what printer companies do to prevent refilling. I have successfully refilled Brother ($5 instead of $60), HP ($10 instead of $60) and Ricoh ($50 instead of $200). I found a company called NorthBay Toner to be very helpful and their customer service excellent. You can read this page and contact them

DONOT NOR IS RECOMMENDED TO USE INK FROM ANOTHER CARTRIAGE COMPANY IN ANOTHER FOR FEAR THE INK QUALITY MAY NOT BE GOOD FOR ANOTHER PRINTER GO TO A INK REFILL PLACE WHICH IS CHEAPER THAN PURCHASING A NEW CARTRIAGE.

Simple and easy to refill a toner cartridge?

I need to save some $$$ if possible.Simple and easy to refill a toner cartridge?
There is no such thing as a simple and easy to refill toner cartridge.

You have drum units (that transfer the image) they are usually electrostatically charged and they do get very grimy. They need to be cleaned.

Usually there is a fuse on the cartridge that blows once it it empty. That needs to be replaced.

Toner dust is some nasty stuff -%26gt; see link

Finally toners have moving parts that need to be lubricated and often replaced after a single use.

If you are looking to save some money, try to hunt down a factory refurbished cartridge. They will usually save you anywhere from 20-50% off the OEM price and are not going to cause you any problems.Simple and easy to refill a toner cartridge?
I'd suggest looking in your area (try the Yellow Pages) for places that will re-fill the cartridge for you. It is more expensive than re-filling on your own, but these places usually have money-back guarantees. Cartridges don't last forever too, because the coating on the main roller inside the cartridge wears out - the money-back guarantee would come in handy here.

Refilling a copy machine is a real pain in the butt (many office workers can tell you this) because the toner is like fine powder and it goes all over the place when you try to pour it out of the bottle. A printer cartridge is easier, but you have to be real careful.
I have refilled and most time they indicate to drill

holes in correct area but i have managed to cut the lable and expose the cover of which with a sharp kitchen knife pry open to expose the colored

sponges then it is easy to see and fill tillthe liquid is visible.

then just close and tape cover.
whats the question?whether its easy to refill cartridge?if so the newer the priter the harder it is,ive been a cartridge tech for ten yrs, give more detail what sort of cartridge is it?
Go to inksell.com and see if they have refills for your cartridge. I use there black refill for mine and it works great. Stay away from ebay. Some of the ones found there are junk.

  • If you return your old toner cartridge to HP after you replace it, will they refill it and send it back?

When you buy a new toner cartridge from HP, they send you a postal proof that you can put back on the box it comes in, tape the box back up with your old toner cartridge, and mail it back. Are they just asking you to send it back for recycling reasons, or are they going to fill it back up and send it back to you full? This is the 12 inch cartridge for an HP laserjet 5100.If you return your old toner cartridge to HP after you replace it, will they refill it and send it back?
no they are not but the do recycle themIf you return your old toner cartridge to HP after you replace it, will they refill it and send it back?
Wouldn't that be great if they did refill them and send them back? They provide the shipping label with their products as a way to show they are an environmentally friendly company that doesn't want everyone just tossing out the cartridges into the trash. They will take the cartridge back and recycle it properly so that it doesn't add to the ever growing computer related trash nowadays. I don't believe they will refurbish it as they like to sell only new cartridges that are much more reliable, but they could sell them to other recyclers, break them down into their unique components and melt them down for re-use or simply dispose of them in a more appropriate manner.

    Take care.
They willnot simply refuill it, they will dismantle the old one, replace the image drum and developer systems, tests them then refill.

This is allowed for in the costs, as it actually costs about the same to refurbish a cartridge PROPERLY as to manufacture a new casing, so they get you to send it back as under USA laws thay have to.

Sometimes there are HP cartridges that are compatible with Oki printers.

This is usually only true in the Premium Remanufactured aftermarket.

No. There's nothing HP that fits and the toner is slightly different as well.
